Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective Date: 14 August 2025
This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to any cancellation of subscription for TezBillBook Products and any applicable refunds. TezBillBook will not process refund requests if the cancellation violates this policy or our Terms & Conditions, or if your account is terminated for violation of those terms.
1. Policy Scope
This policy is part of and must be read together with our Terms & Conditions. Any capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning assigned in the Terms & Conditions.
2. Eligibility for Refund
A user may cancel their subscription at any time if not satisfied with the product or service. However, TezBillBook will refund the subscription fee only during the “Refund Period”:
- (a) If the initial purchase was assisted by an authorised TezBillBook sales agent – within 7 days from the Account Setup appointment.
- (b) If the initial purchase was made directly by the user or through any other sales channel – within 7 days from the purchase date stated on the invoice.
3. Important Notes
- Refund can only be claimed once, and for no more than the total subscription fee paid to TezBillBook.
- Refunds are not applicable for subscription renewals.
- Refunds are not applicable for upgrades purchased during the subscription term, unless purchased within the Refund Period.
- All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted via the official TezBillBook customer support helpline. Requests through any other communication channel will not be considered.
4. Refund Processing
We work with banks, payment gateways, aggregators, and other financial partners (“Service Providers”) to process refunds. We aim to complete eligible refunds within 20 working days from the cancellation request date, but the actual time may vary depending on Service Providers.
Users must provide the necessary details for processing refunds, including but not limited to bank account details, branch information, UPI address, IFSC code, etc. TezBillBook may deduct any bank fees, service charges, or related expenses incurred during the refund process.
5. No-Refund Scenarios
This policy does not apply to users who:
- Register and purchase a subscription using a referral code or referral link from an existing TezBillBook user.
- Purchase through a no-cost EMI or any EMI plan facilitated by third-party service providers.
Such users are not eligible for any refund. By availing of EMI facilities from third-party lenders, the user explicitly agrees to this no-refund policy.
